ElderFest is back for 2026!

Following last year's popular event, we are delighted to announce that ElderFest will once again take place in October 2026. The event will be held at GodFirst Church, Christchurch BH23 2TG on Tuesday 27 October from 10am-3pm, and promises to be another day full of inspiration, advice and fun.

Over 50 local organisations will be joining us this year, giving visitors the chance to explore a wide range of services and activities that support older people in leading active, fulfilling lives. From health and wellbeing resources to social groups and lifestyle opportunities, the event aims to showcase the services available right here in our local community.

The day will include:

  • Over 50 stalls and information stands showcasing local services for older people

  • Free tech support and tech amnesty from Wise Guys

  • Free health checks from the Health Science University

  • NHS vaccination clinic

  • Programme of talks covering topics including home fire safety and money advice from Citizens Advice

  • Free refreshments generously provided by Colten Care and Barchester Healthcare.

Parking is available at the venue and transport can also be provided from within Christchurch – just get in touch with the CCP team on 01202 989632 to find out more.

More details will be announced on this page as they are confirmed so come back again to find out more. And in the meantime, take a look at the photos from last year's event to see what this year might have in store!

ElderFest is organised by Christchurch Community Partnership in partnership with Christchurch Primary Care Network, PramaLife, and BCP Age Friendly Communities.

ElderFest is free to attend and all are welcome!
