New Fun, Friendship & Food group launches

February saw the launch of our new Fun, Friendship and Food group (AKA the Triple F group) in St Luke’s Church Hall, Burton.

The first hour was time to get to know each other (with an entertaining ‘Jenga Challenge’ to break the ice!) followed by a light lunch, before being transported home for a well-deserved afternoon nap (and that was just for the staff team!) Since then, the group have also enjoyed a gentle seated exercise session, along with more great conversation and fun!

This project is a departure from our usual lunch club activity and could be the model for others in underserved areas of Christchurch.
